Two brave souls have traveled across space in search of water. On return, they find that their home planet is suddenly swimming in it and everybody has forgotten who they are and why they sent them.
Our project was a unique one. We created a piece of theatre with the young performers of Sir John Cass Primary School, written verbatim from the questions they put to the elderly residents of Hawthorn Green Care Home. Over six months we rehearsed and devised to create a show which explored the jeopardy of memory and what it's like to feel like a stranger in the place you grew up in.
